As if exercising your right to vote wasn't enough!

I voted earlier today & it felt GREAT! There was absolutely NO ONE else there except one man already in a booth & the 5 little old ladies that are there every time the polls open (you know the people verifying who you are & making you sign your name). I remember one of those little old ladies worked in the school cafeteria when I was in high school... or was it elementary school? It's been FOREVER so I don't remember! Anyway, there were no problems with the machine & no problem finding my name on the register. I was in & out in less than 5 minutes & it probably would have been quicker than that but I read all the amendments that were on the ballot. So all in all, it was a great day!

After I got home I realized that if you have this "I voted" sticker, you get free stuff! As if exercising your right to vote wasn't enough, you can go to Starbucks for a free tall coffee and then shoot over to Krispy Kreme for a free donut with sprinkles! You hear that, Wentworth? FREE STARBUCKS!!!!! That's right, plenty businesses are giving away "freebies" as an incentive or perhaps a Thank You for being a good citizen on a very special day!
