Last night on Prison Break 11/10

UPDATED!! Added my two cents ;)
Sorry for the late recap; it was a pretty hectic day in the Land of SoLo today! I'll try my best to make it up to you as soon as I can but if the rest of this week proves to be as crazy as today, I might be making up for a lot! Thanks for being the BEST "audience" ever - even when I rant about seemingly nothing! You know I'll make good ;)

Episode 411 "Quiet Riot" promo & sneak peek coming up next (airs Nov. 17, 2008)!

The last time we left off our heroes, Brad Bellick gave his life for the team. It was sad. [It was pretty sad. Didn't think I'd miss old Bellick but it's a hard pill to swallow! I can say that Sucre had obviously grown quite fond of Brad Bellick; I guess saving a life will do that to you! His meltdown on Self was a surprise since Sucre is usually on an even keel (that's me using a line from Prison Break - remember who said that?) But I was glad he stood up for his friend. Just for the record, Self never told the guys that they would be returned to next of kin. He told them if they were killed while ridding the world of the likes of the Company then a "proper funeral" would "be provided". But if they tried to escape, basically, they would be ghosted LOL!]

So Michael and Don held a secret meeting with Gretchen. The last time we left her off, it looked like she was back to no good joining up with her boyfriend, the General. But now, she told them that Scylla was being moved. So is she a double agent? If so, why not tell the guys about joining the company again? [I like Gretchen playing both sides... that is until she crosses my boy, Scofield! I think it's smart of her NOT to tell them that she knows about Scylla moving b/c they already don't trust her. I think her meeting with the General is smart, especially the way she's playing it. Now I doubt the General is stupid so I'm not so sure if he's falling for her "coming back home" bit, but we'll see! I honestly believe it's all in the plan for what's to come next episode!]

At the warehouse, more hidden clues are showing up in the pages of the bird book. Letters, the first three letters found were C, M, and E, obviously spelling out, “See me.” Michael gathered more letters and spelled out the name “David Baker.” Which is who needed to be contacted. So they began to google him. [Sucre was hilarious in this episode beginning with this scene when he says "who, besides you two - meaning Michael & Alex - would come up with something like that"! Now the search for David Baker begins!]

At Gate, T-Bag’s secretary handed him Gretchens fingerprints and background info. She explained that she was clean, that there were no mentions of anyone on the team, including Whistler. T-Bag went wide-eyed when he heard her say Whistlers name. She tried to cover herself by saying Michael said it once, but T-Bag knew better. His boss then stopped him, asking him to present to a group, using his legendary sales record techniques. ["Gretchen Louise" LOL... what a girlie name for such a she-devil! OMG! That look T-Bag gave little missy was priceless. He knew something was up... but what could it be? How could Trish Anne know about Whistler?]

At the warehouse, Michael’s condition returned. He didn’t bleed from the nose, nor did he get shaky and confused, he simply fainted. So Dr. Sara had to rush him to the hospital, hopefully to tell us all whats wrong with him. He had a quick cat scan, and the doctors asked him to wait for the results, Michael wanted to leave, but Sara asked him to stay. His safety was her only concern. When the police showed up, Michael decided it was time to go, and asked the doctor to call them with results. [I'd seen this scene so many times over the past few weeks that I was waiting for it! I've gotta stop reading spoilers & watching sneak peeks b/c it's starting to ruin it for me! I didn't even have the opportunity to be scared for him =( except for when the police showed up at the hospital. Oh, speaking of police showing up (relatively speaking really) I knew something was up with that doctor b/c of the look he had on his face when he looked at Mike. He had this startled look & I think he took a double take... like he knew who he was!]

Mahone was the one to visit David Baker. Apparently, David Baker was a ‘Vincent Price’ impersonator, did anyone hear his voice? Anyways, Mahone was there to ask him for help. He said he worked for the company, but David Baker quickly figured out the truth, as agents from the Company began to surround the building. Mahone had to leave, but before he got away, Baker’s wife slipped him some information on Scylla. [Yay for David Baker's wife! I just knew Mahone was toast... AGAIN! This David Baker guy actually reminded me of Stephen King LOL! When those black cars rolled up, it was like the devil's army! Those Company guys are like the evil secret service!]

At Gate, Lincoln and Sucre were trying to figure out what to do next when Sucre accidentally stepped on a explosive trigger, if he moves just a tiny inch, a giant boulder would drop from above, and they would have to run away from it with an incredible adventure score…or blow up. Lincoln told Sucre to hold on as he got Gretchen to help. She said she would have to manually de-trigger the bomb. [This is absolutely irrelevant BUT... when Gretchen asked T-Bag what kind of hillbilly he was when he didn't know what "noodling" meant, was frickin' priceless! Sucre's story about how Bellick saved him when T-Bag set Sona on fire almost made me cry... then I just cried laughing at Sucre... "It beeps!" LOL! "No no no no!" Something something in Spanish! Linc says "WHAT?" Sucre yells "Call your brother, please!" LOL OMG!!! Funny dude! Then he begs Lincoln to call Michael again! You can see the anguish on his face & it's priceless! Gretchen tells him to take a deep breath & move slowly. Sucre's like "Oh no, I can't do it!" Gretchen tells him they can't sit there all night... It's so funny b/c Sucre is sweating bullets LOL!]

Back at headquarters, Michael and Mahone were looking at the information Baker’s wife gave him, and realized the land mine was also a trigger for an alarm. So in a flash of lightning, Mahone got from headquarters to Gate, and told Gretchen to stop what she was doing. Then found a manual overdrive to turn off the trigger for twenty seconds. My question was, why didn’t Linc think of that, there was a box on the wall, and no one thought to see what it was? Anyways, after a bit of crying, Sucre stepped off the bomb, and he was fine. [Aww, Dave, you're took kind! There was more than just a bit of crying! When Mahone showed up & tells Gretchen if she dismantles it that an alarm will go off, Sucre says "so either set off the alarm or blow up & die!" Genius!!! He blubbered so much that Mahone starts screaming at him b/c he wouldn't step off the thing even after Mahone used the override. He's like DUDE we got 20 seconds now get the hell off the thing LOL! I paraphrased but I'm sure that's what he wanted to say! I felt bad for "Sugar" but it was super funny!]

T-Bag, back at Gate, took a look at his secretary’s file. He called a number in the file, which was answered by Don Self. Earlier in the episode, we learned she worked with Homeland Security, hopefully we will learn more about this in the weeks ahead. [T-Bag asked for the file - as you already know - b/c Trish Anne mentioned Whistler & she shouldn't know that name so he knew something was up. Before all that, Trish Anne actually went to see Self. Wouldn't you know it; she's not who we thought she was, but an FBI agent? Didn't see that one coming! She talks to Don Self about mentioning Whistler & how bad T-Bag & Gretchen are. Self asks her if she wants out but she doesn't b/c she wants the Company dismantled like everyone else. My bet is she dies pretty soon!]

Back at the warehouse, the team takes a moment of silence to say goodbye to Bellick, just before he is shipped to his mother for burial. Sucre made the phone call to his mother, as promised. Sara told Michael she got the call from his doctor. He has a tumor, and needs to have surgery right away. Michael explained he needed two days, but Sara told him it had to be one, or he runs the risk of dying. [Man, that was really sad. I'm glad Mahone put the "stolen" badge on him... for his mom, it was a nice gesture! Oh yeah, T-Bag's boss seemed to like his presentation... I was impressed as well but you know T-Bag has quite a way with words & is tremendous at worming his way out of... and into stuff! The guys realize they have to break into a steel fiber wall to get to Scylla. The room where it's kept is so secure... any breathing human weighing more than 2 pounds would be detected! Of course, when Mikey says after getting around the wall, they have to figure out how to cross the floor , Sucre chimes in saying "without touching it" LOL! Mahone adds "in silence"! Funny episode! How the heck are they gonna get in there? I sense an IMF type stealth mission coming along! Can't wait! Then the moment we all waited for: Michael's diagosis. Sara tells Mike the neurologist called saying he has a hypothalamus hamatoma - yeah, we'll talk about that after I've gotten some sleep! Point is, two days ain't gonna cut it; he needs surgery NOW or he could die! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! OMG this next epi needs to be two hours!!!!!!!!!]

Thanks to AwsumDave at the Extraordinary Project for the weekly recap!
