History: will you be a part of it?

Watching CNN is a very enlightening experience =D I usually only watch if something is airing that catches my attention but since the election got really intense the last few weeks, ya'll know I've been watchin a lot & I've actually found several shows that I REALLY like... guess I'll be tuning in more often now.
While watching today for lunch, they showed a copy of this full page ad in the New York Times that reads:
There is a moment, a simple moment, before history gets recorded.
Before it goes in the books.
Before it appears as a question on a game show.
or on a midterm exam.
A moment right before the headline is written.
There is a moment when history lives in the present.
When we can watch it unfold in real time, right before our eyes.
And we can all assume our place in it.
Some people live for history.
We live for the moment just before.
So I ask you: will you be a part of the moment just before history is made or will you wait around until after it's already accomplished? Will you be able to tell your children & grandchildren that you were a part of this monumental occasion? Will you be able to say that you participated in making history or will you only be able to say you witnessed it? I don't want to just say I was witnessed it! I want to be able to tell people that I was there & I made a difference no matter the outcome of the votes tonight! I want future generations to know that I made my mark BEFORE history was made & that MY mark helped to shaped the history that they read about in their history books! Come on! You still got time!
