Alaina - NAM Princess

Sometimes you work at places that require u to wear a uniform... most of the time u really dont like it but you might as well strike a pose like ME!!! ha ha ha ha ha ha penguin uniform here.. LOL

I went to my former job to pick up my last check a couple of my buddies there wanted one last picture before I never set foot in that kitchen again so here we are LOL I had really good times there and of course really bad times but it's time to move on!

Astro Burger!

I hadnt had a burger... and by burger i mean veggie burger and fries in almost 1 year!!!! so yesterday I decided to take a friend along with me and have a burger and fries for lunch.. she had a veggie burger for the first time and I had my veggie deluxe burger, fries, and fried zucchini for the first time in almost a year so I totally enjoyed it and where else to get a great burger than ASTRO BURGER! picture below is the fried zucchini! sooo good!

Local resident crowned Miss LA Princess

Lafayette, LA — Alaina Lakera Walker of Plaquemine was crowned the new National American Miss Louisiana Princess recently at the state pageant held in Lafayette.

Walker and four other girls will present the state and compete in national competition at Disneyland in Anaheim, Cal. in the Princess Division in November.

She competed in several categories from spirit of America to portfolio to casual modeling and program.

nothing like a chai latte!

I was waiting for my friend to pick me up so we could hang out and I decided to head over to coffee bean to have me a soy chai latte. yes COFFEE BEAN!! NOT STARBUCKS!! I found my new love! sorry starbucks fans... i just think coffee bean is a lot better. Anyway as i sat waiting for my friend on a cool night, nothing was better than sipping on a hot soy chai latte. mmmmm steamed soy milk! chai flavor!! LOVED IT

MMMMM veggie tacos!!!

I went out to venice beach just to walk because I LOVE walking and I got a little hungry... I decided to hit up my favorite mexican restaurant in venice on abbot kinney called " Casalinda Mexican Grill" I absolutely LOVE their grilled veggie tacos and their light and crispy tortilla chips!! one thing i have always been crazy about is pickled carrots... us mexicans eat pickled carrots as a small side with our food. It's sooooooo delicious!!! i ate so much of this. Anyway, there was nothing better than eating inside the cutest little mexican restaurant in venice on a hot summer day eating grilled vegetable tacos, pickled carrots and sipping on glass of cold iced tea!!! AHHHHH!! I totally enjoyed my food!

I am gone!

Happy to report that I have packed my pastry tools and have finally said goodbye to my job.
It felt GREAT to delete my FORMER boss's number from my cell phone!! it was hard to leave my
friends behind but it was time for me to move on so time for new beginings
