6 Baby names you probably shouldn't give your kid.

Now, this next article I found on Yahoo news... ARE THERE ACTUALLY PEOPLE NAMING THIER KID PILOT INSPEKTOR?????? NOT INSPECTOR BUT PILOT INSPEKTOR??? WOW CHECK THIS OUT!!!
Forget Apple and Pilot Inspektor. If you really want to give your kid a hard time growing up, just pick from the following list.

1. BATMAN

dark-knight.jpgVenezuelans are among the world’s most creative namers. In fact, according to their own government, they’re too creative. In September 2007, after hearing about babies

named Superman and Batman, state authorities urged parents to pick their names from an approved list of 100 common Spanish monikers. Those conventional names (such as Juanita and Miguel) quickly acquired a patrician ring, ironically giving rise to more novel names, like Hochiminh (after the Vietnamese guerilla) and Eisenhower (after the president). There are also at least 60 Venezuelans with the first name Hitler.

2. ECLIPSE GLASSES

Picture 51.png In June 2001, a total solar eclipse was about to cross southern Africa. To prepare, the Zimbabwean and Zambian media began a massive astronomy education campaign focused on warning people not to stare at the Sun. Apparently, the campaign worked. The locals took a real liking to the vocabulary, and today, the birth registries are filled with names like Eclipse Glasses Banda, Totality Zhou, and Annular Mchombo.

3. NAAKTGEBOREN

When Napoleon seized the Netherlands in 1810, he demanded that all Dutchmen take last names, just as the French had done decades prior. Problem was, the Dutch had lived full and happy lives with single names, so they took absurd surnames in a show of spirited defiance. These included Naaktgeboren (born naked), Spring int Veld (jump in the field), and Piest (pisses). Unfortunately for their descendants, Napoleon’s last-name trend stuck, and all of these remain perfectly normal Dutch names today.

4. VLADIMIR ASHKENAZY

iceland2.jpgThe people of Iceland take their names very seriously. The country permits no one—not even immigrants—to take or keep foreign surnames. So what happened when esteemed Russian maestro Vladimir Ashkenazy asked to become an Icelandic citizen? Well, the government finally decided to make an exception. Vladimir Ashkenazy is now on the short list of approved Icelandic names.

5. YAZID

Imam Husayn ibn Ali is one of the holiest figures in the Shi’ite Muslim faith. In the 7th century CE, he lost his head on the orders of the Sunni caliph, Yazid, and the decapitation initiated the biggest schism in Islamic history. While the name Yazid remains common among Sunnis, it is disdained throughout the Shi’a world. The stigma attached to it is equivalent to naming one’s son Stalin or Hitler. Speaking of which…

6. ADOLF

Memories of death camps and fascism have kept parents from christening their kids Adolf for quite some time. But one unlucky youngster acquired the name in 1949. He was the son of William Patrick Hitler—the dictator’s nephew, who moved to America in the 1930s to fight against his uncle. It isn’t clear why William preserved the name, but his four sons (including Alexander Adolf Hitler, now 57) made a pact to never have children in an effort to stunt der Fuehrer’s family tree at its branches.

Interview with Michael Rapaport

Recently, Michael Rapaport, the FBI agent turned Scylla thief, spoke to Paul Fisher from the Movie Hole. Since we're mainly concerned with Prison Break LOL, I pulled the few questions pertaining to that only. If you'd like to read the entire interview, just follow the link in the credit below!

Question: What does that mean to the show? I mean, are they going to do something special at the end of year?
Rapaport: You know, I don't know how it's going to play itself out, but I'm sure they're going to have something fun lined up.

Wentworth Miller is ESQUIRE Esquisite!!!

YES!!! You guessed right!!...AGAIN!!!!!! LOL Wentworth Miller appears on the cover of Chinese ESQUIRE Magazine for it's December 2008 issue!!! Interesting cover though LOL check it out!!

Wentworth - Miller: I spent 10 years in order to perform for a living

Miller was told that he has as many as 135 million fans in China, almost one-tenth of the Chinese population in China.
Miller does not want to offend his fans but says that he finds his fans scream for the character he plays, they yell Michael or Scolfield. He denys having any similarities to his sexy and smart character Michael Scofield.(Which is kind of strange to me because I think i remember him saying that he does share some similarities with his character...I think he meant the smart & sexy qualities. Oh WENT!! HONEY, you are WAY TOO MODEST!! LOL)

BCM says: Selfless had us spellbound!

Apparently Blogcritics Magazine loved Prison Break's twelfth epi, "Selfless", so much, that they were "spellbound" by the "spectacular episode", calling it "arguably the best of this season"! Check out some of the quotes from their weekly recap:

"This episode was packed so full of punches, that one could barely take one's eyes off the screen for the entire 42 minutes! The entire episode was paced just frantically enough so that it grasped the audience’s attention all the way through, like a fish on a hook. From start to finish, this episode piled on electrifying twists, engaging turns, and gripping developments, thereby proving to be a very sensational episode."

"...it was simply delightful watching “Selfless”, which was intense, riveting, and absolutely titillating. A series like Prison Break has to rely on adrenalin-charged scenes and plot developments, and in this episode, the series dipped once again into its arsenal of mind-blowing scenes and storylines to give us a truly stimulating experience."

"...this episode was simply fun and exciting. It was certainly a blast of an adventure that kept us spellbound. The ending of “Selfless” left us on a cliffhanger that returns the gang to turmoil once again, just as we thought they were finally free, thereby enticing us to watch next week with bated breath. Spellbound indeed!"

Now that's what I call "AWESOME"!!! I don't think I need to follow up with anything else!!

HERE IT IS SANS FRENCH TRANSLATION PB CAST INTERVIEWS!!!!!!

SoLo!!! ACCEPT IT YOU ARE NOW HEARING IT FROM MILLER HIMSELF!!! LOL ENJOY!!

Video credit: kruemelchen97 at YouTube

OOOOH, goodie!!!!

A Hollywood Reporter said that Prison Break might be over with the news that two additional episodes would be added to this season. Well, E! Online's Kristin reached out to the network, the studio and inside sources to find out exactly what's going on! Fox is thinking about adding two more episodes but it is because they are happy with how 24: Redemption turned out (the movie aired this past Sunday & IT WAS DARN GOOD!). So now they are considering the same thing for Prison Break! Sources are not saying much since details are still be ironed out. Kristin did say that "these two additional hours would not impact the planned storylines for season four" Hmm... so if they aren't impacting S4, then will they preface a season 5? Guess we'll have to wait because Kristin is supposed to find out more this week! As soon as we know, YOU'LL KNOW!!

I was happy to read this! I'm hoping this is in fact the case because it definitely is what I was thinking was the reason! Went, I love you, baby, but I'm not ready to NOT see your face on Monday nights, plus I honestly love the show & think it's great!

Episode 412 "Selfless" Airdate: 2008-11-24
*If you missed it: you can go to
FOX on Demand to watch the full episode before reading the recap!
Episode 413 "Deal or No Deal" promo & sneak peek coming up next (airs Dec. 1, 2008)!

Sorry this is late but it's been another busy day... From now on, I think I'll have to start on these after the show goes off! Oh, by the way, Dave didn't post a recap yet so you have to deal with my very first recap LOL! Mine will probably be a little more detailed, so please forgive the length! Hope you enjoy! You will soon realize why this epi is called "Selfless"!!! Here goes:

Last week:

We left off with the guys breaking through that wall & Michael getting on the other side glass to finally get his hands on Scylla. Just as he was about to grab it, a silent alarms triggers & signals the General. He gathers his men & head down to where Scylla is kept... Gretchen & T-Bag trick Trishanne into believing they were meeting a buyer. She calls Self & they head over to the house, only to be kidnapped by Feng... Gretchen & T-Bag prepare to snatch Scylla from the guys when they come back through the closet... Gretchen gave Self something to give to Michael but I'm still not sure what it was...

This week:

Michael examines the computer with Scylla while the General makes his way to where he is. Meanwhie, TBag gets antsy about snatching Scylla from the guys. He thinks it's taking way too long but Gretchen is calm.

Just as Michael reminisces, Krantz & his goons rush from the elevator, guns ready. They surround Michael, unaware that Sucre, Mahone & Lincoln are there with guns of their own. The General begins his taunting as Michael tells him that he wanted him to come down there so he could get his card from him. Michael takes the card from him & opens the computer to reveal 6 slots for the cards to fit. The General tells Michael that he's 6 cards short when Michael pulls out the other 5 five, to Krantz's surprise! Sucre is so silly: he says "Suck it, General!" LOL I love it!

Trishanne wimpers like a baby telling Self what a horrible partner he is and what a coward he is, but it's all a distraction so Self can get out of the handcuffs and disband Feng & his band of merry men! They get loose but as Feng threatens to kill Self, Trishanne shows she's bad with a gun and shoots him! Self sends her off to get Gretchen & TBag at Gate while he cleans up.

Gretchen & T are talking to Mr. White his "Cole's" office. While he gets suspicious of Cole's answer to his question, he notices that dang gun Gretchen has stashed behind the desk. He makes an excuse to leave so he can call the police and Gretchen realizes he knows. She runs out with her MP5 pointing right for him. She & TBag force everyone is White's office then yells "NOW WHAT?" at Gretchen! I swear I balled over laughing everytime I saw that!

The General asks Mikey how he got all 5 cards. Michael returns the taunts that Krantz threw at him earlier and places the cards, which are actually keys to open the computer. Michael is able to retrieve Scylla from inside! Lincoln says "I guess right now you wished you'd framed someone else, huh, General?" Michael places Scylla in his backpack & the guys load into the elevator that the General has to activate. Because they know they'd never get out alive, they force him to join them. They all go into his office, leaving the guard to call for back up... can't figure out why they didn't take the guard hostage, too... Anyway, Michael calls Sara telling her they got Scylla & asks how things are on her end. She says she needs 5 more minutes then smiles a sneaky smirky. I've gotta tell, I LOVED Sara in this epi!!! Mahone asks if the desk where Michael is seated is the desk he gave the order to Wyatt to kill his little boy.

Trishanne makes her way to Gate where she sees the people being held hostage. Gretchen & TBag continue to argue. The General's guards rush around, shutting down the entire building in an attempt to rescue the General.

Jonathon (the General, of course) continues his taunting. He tells Linc to reach in a drawer & get a photo. Linc reminisces about the conversation he had with his dad about why he left his family. The General tells him that his father was not a data analysis and that there was a lot he didn't know about his dad or his mom! Linc grabbed him & swore to him he'd kill if he said another word.

Self's boss enters his office and reminds him of the plan and mission at stake. Meanwhile the guards stand at Krantz's door... Michael gets another headache & blurry vision. The General starts trying to bribe the guys. He offers money to Sucre for college for his little baby to Mahone for he & Pam to start another family. He offers airline tickets to Michael for he & Sara to leave.

A waiter at the luncheon where Lisa is wastes food in her lap. She rushes to the restroom to clean it off as Sara grabs her from behind, covers her mouth & puts a gun to the back of her head!!! GO SARA!!!!!!

The General attempts to leave his office telling the guys that if they kill him they have no leverage! Just then, the phone rings... it's Lisa on the other end to tell HER DAD that Sara is holding her at gunpoint! Sounds like they have leverage to me!!!!!!! She begs him to give them what they want so Sara won't kill her! OMG!!!!!!!!!! No wonder she dislikes Gretchen so much... their about the same age LOL!!!

The General is convinced that Sara, having been a doctor, wouldn't harm Lisa. Michael shows him a list of all the people they know who have died at the hands of the Company & says his daughter's life is worth no more than the people on that list. He assures him that Sara, after having gone through all she's gone through, she will kill Lisa if she has to. Lincoln demands that the General tell them how he was planning to move Scylla.

As Gretchen & TBag are STILL arguing like Bobby & Whitney, Trishanne sneaks in to free the hostages. Mr. White decides he wants to run out before the others & Gretchen sees him, fires off her machine gun & kills him. She and TBag escape while in a gun battle with Trishanne. Funny thing about this is, Trishanne had a handgun & the other two had frickin' machine guns... Hmm, who do you think was gonna win that fight anyway? Nevertheless, Trishanne held her own!

The guys taunt the General as they walk him out of the building to the armored truck that was waiting to move Scylla. Sara makes Lisa tell her bodyguard who's knocking at the door to tell him that she's fine. She tries to convince Sara that she's so innocent & Michael & Lincoln are the bad guys, but Sara basically tells her to get a life because she's going to do what she has to do to stop her & her father's trecherous company.

Here we go again: Gretchen & TBag... yep they are STILL at it, arguing in the garage. She wipes down her gun, throws it in the dumpster & tells "Cole" to do the same. Just as he dumps his gun, she pulls another one on him saying he's the only one who can identify her & link her to the crimes. Just then, Trishanne peels around the corner & TBag gets away from Gretchen as she flees as well... Trishanne captures TBag.

As the guys walk the General to the armored truck, he tells Lincoln that their father was a Company executioner - like Gretchen & Wyatt - and the men he trained will be coming after them! Lincoln gets so furious that he pulls a gun on Krantz as he walks away but he doesn't shoot him.

Lisa's bodyguard begin to worry so they go back to the restroom to check on her; they find her sitting in a stall tied up; Sara's already gone. As she walks past the waiter who wasted the food on Lisa, she tips him!

As the General calls Lisa to verify she's ok & orders her to a safe location, the guys take the armored truck to the airport. Michael calls self to let him know they have Scylla & will meet him at the rendezvous point. Of course they are being followed by Company dudes, so Mike & Linc split from Mahone & Sucre. The Company, to ensure Scylla does not leave the airport, have all flights delayed and have their men follow the brothers through the terminal. Michael sends a text to Mahone simply saying "NOW". When Mahone gets the message, he calls someone to tell them that they need to check something out.

Just as the Company's henchmen catch up to Mike & Linc and take the backpack, airport security show up and ask the goon to come with them. As Michael & Lincoln run away, they security take the man to a room and ask him to empty the bag. He insists they have the wrong person & that he only has a laptop & external hard drive. The security guard take out the laptop and a book entitled "All's Well that Ends Well and other Comedies"!!! OMG! They dooped him! Why people underestimate Scofield is beyond me! Mahone & Sucre have Scylla!

Trishanne & TBag talk. He asks her if she would have believed that he was a businessman if she didn't know who he really was. He begins to quote a line from Gate as he feels really stupid about all he's done!

Michael delivers Scyall to Self. He congratulates the guys on a job well done & tell them that their convoy would be there in about 30 minutes to take them to be processed. He hands Michael a folder containing their transfer papers. Sara tells Self that Michael needs medical treatment & he says he'll send an ambulance with the convoy and that Michael would get the best care available.

The General sat in his office confused. One of his guys asks what he wants to do and all he could reply with was: "I don't know."

The guys and Sara talk about all they've been through and how much better things will be now that this is all over.

Self meets up with Trishanne, shows Scylla to her & asks her if there was anyone else that may have been involved and if there were any other buyers.

An hour passed as the guys, & Sara wait for Self's people to arrive. Sara asks Michael to call him to find out what's going on but when Michael calls, the phone just rings. Suddenly an error message comes on: "The number you have reached is not in service at this time and there is no new number." Michael looks around in disbelief.

Trishanne asks Self if she can take a good look at Scylla. Self tells her she did a good job. He turns, says, I'm sorry & shoots her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Michael grabs the envelope with their "transfer papers"... it's a bunch of blank pages!!! They KNOW Self has screwed them. He slides the envelope away from him & says "Self. Self" then gets that Season 3 "Sona" look in his eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cosmo China Magazine translation

Cosmo China translation
Wentworth Miller: Man We Love

Preface
Wentworth Miller: You got to run in the right direction

We should thank Chinese Brand Me & City. If Me & City hadn’t invited Wentworth Miller as their spokesperson, we wouldn’t have had such an opportunity to “scream” to him.Yes, wherever he is, right now he has one identity in the world: the handsome man in Prison Break, Michael Scofield. How long could a man take to pursuit his dream without giving up? How long could a man have to wait before question himself whether he made a wrong decision? Wentworth Miller spent almost 10 years to wait and to insist on what he wants. Just like his character, Michael Scofield, he believes in his objective and pursuit it without hesitation, without caring much about rules and conventions. He is smart and confident. In fact, it is not that difficult for a smart and handsome man to win the “scream” from women all around the world if he is given the opportunity to get his face out there. Whereas, this man was annealed by God for ten years, he knows which direction he’s going to run, if he wants.

Interview

Cosmo: Do you want to be a hero like Michael?
Miller: Michael has a heroic charisma. He is very brave and loyal. I admire these qualities that he has, and I want to have these qualities, but in the meantime, Michael is torn between a hero and a crazy. Along with the plot, his heroic quality is fuzzy. I think that is the exciting part about the show. Nobody is really good or bad. Everyone seems in-between. You can’t really tell his difference from other criminals now at this point. To be honest, I don’t want this fuzziness happened on me.

Cosmo: Can acting help you to find a new aspect about yourself?
Miller: yes, I have this sort of feeling. Being an actor is self-challenging, to act inappropriately. In real life, we all have self control, but it is safe in front of camera to cry, laugh, and do something extreme without holding back your emotion. Those things that you can’t express in your daily life can be let out in acting. Some actors may tell you that you must forget about yourself when you are acting, but for me, acting is about finding myself. You exhibit the one that you usually don’t want to exhibit or the one that is inhibited by the real life situation. I think the lesson I learn from being an actor is how a middle-class young man abandons middle-class stereotype mode of thinking and acting, because we have always been told what is appropriate and what is not in our life. I think all of us should have a chance to indulge for a while. Why don’t use this chance to make some money?

Cosmo: Do you feel be trapped for playing the same character for years?
Miller: This could be a challenge. has a great influence on me, because Sam Waterston is my model. He plays the same character very well over the years. What moves me most is he proves that a TV show can be also as extraordinary as a movie. Being a lead actor in a hit TV show could be my great opportunity as well as a trap.

Cosmo: In a real life, do you have any impulse to break out any convention?
Miller: In fact, we all live in a certain “prison”, or in other words, we are all trapped in a box, constrained by a certain social character. I followed the rules all along my way, finished up my education in Princeton. It is not that easy for me to do some extreme acting like some other actors. My acting experience grows along with Michael. At first, he was a hero only with a brain. But later on, he needs not only his brain, but also his muscle. This is a big challenge for me. I’m proud of my progress.

Cosmo: what’s the reaction of your family to your acting and being famous?
Miller: They are, of course, very exciting about it. My mom watches the show every week. She doesn’t like Michael or anybody else gets hurt. It will upset her, so I have to call her before the show every week to warn her in advance. Yes, I tell her everything.

Cosmo: Do you worry about the future? What if there is no character coming along as good as Michael after the show is over?
Miller: I don’t worry about tomorrow, and I don’t worry about next week. I don’t plan my career step by step because you don’t know what’s gonna happen tomorrow. It’s meaningless to worry about something you can’t predict and control. The only thing you can do is to focus on what you are doing right now and try you best to make it perfect.

Cosmo: Do you feel be tied up by the down-side of being a well-known star?
Miller: You are not grateful if you complain. I don’t complain any down-side of being a star. I also don’t think Michael is a sexy icon. He doesn’t need to be sexy, neither do I. I will eventually say goodbye to Prison Break, say goodbye to Michael. When the time comes, I don’t wanna be looked only as a handsome guy. I will reinvent myself and show other aspects and skills of mine, such as being a producer, being a director, being a writer… I cannot show all of these by playing this character.

Cosmo: Do you want to be a writer? People in the industry say that a good show must have a good script. Do you want to be the person who can control the quality of a show?
Miller: Yes, I do. I think the real person who can control a show’s quality is not the actor, not the writer, not the director, but the editor. When the show is on, you can really feel the power of editing. I also want to be sitting in the editing room and control which scene I want to put in at which point, where I want to insert music, and which scene I want to make it become panoramic. This is the way how you tell a story. I am very interested in this creative control.

Cosmo: I heard that you wrote a romantic script?
Miller: Yes, I did. It’s called Stoker. It is a salute to Bram Stoker, the writer of Dracula. It has a component from the mysterious story of Dracula. This is a sad love story. He is just like all of us to look for love across space. He is a monster, yet wishes his lover to love all of him. However, there is always this blonde hero who appears and puts a stick into his chest and terminates the love he pursuits. I think this is really sad.

Cosmo: Sometimes you have to pretend that you are a fashion icon. What’s your experience? (lol, good question. )
Miller: When I get up in the morning, I definitely won’t think about how I’m going to be fashionable today. I never thought about being a fashion icon. But I think everybody should have their own symbolic style: being able to pick up the one suitable for you from many jackets, or pick up a unique pair of sunglasses, a watch. Let them become part of you. I think in that way you will have you own unique fashion. I am willing to share my method with you—clever and affordable.Interview

Postscript (personally, I like this little piece of postscript very much. Went is such a sweetheart.)

Wentworth Miller showed up at the shooting point one hour earlier than the originally scheduled interview time, which made all staff hurry-scurry for a moment, because they were used to the lateness of other stars and didn’t expect this. When he wants to drink water, he will offer you one first. If there is only one bottle of water left, he definitely will let ladies have it. He ate the working package lunch with everybody else

[translator note: very simple working lunch, 8RMB (1USD) per box, usually has rice and two or three ordinary Chinese dish, not fancy at all] and said it’s delicious. He also thinks the mini Shanghai dumplings are amazing. When we shot on the boat in the Huangpu River, he wasn’t sure whether the people holding cameras on the bank were all his fans, but he kept waving his hands. He doesn’t want to disregard anyone. While shooting, he was slightly embarrassed and said: “I am not a model. I don’t know many poses.” The photographer didn’t mind it at all because every angle of his is just handsome and perfect.]

Of course on Solo's and my list he's number one. I am drooling here!! Johnny Depp was named sexiest man alive. He was number one. I dont agree but oh well... LOL check out the article.

According to a new poll, the Hollywood hunk (Johnny Depp)has been voted as the world’’s sexiest man.

The ”World’’s Sexiest Men” survey, headed by ”Cosmopolitan” magazine has revealed that the heartthrob snatched the top spot leaving behind George Clooney to nab the second place - both in their 40′’s.

However, following the third place was Jake Gyllenhaal, who’’s just in his 27th year.

Daniel Craig and Brad Pitt, who are in their 40s took away the fourth and the fifth rank, respectively.

Interestingly, only three men in their 20 somethings made it to the Top 25 list, namely, ”Brokeback Mountain” star Jake Gyllenhaal, British actor James McAvoy who came in No. 6 while singer Justin Timberlake at No. 7.

The survey featured singer-actor Will Smith bagging the 8th spot, followed by ace-footballer David Beckham and actor Wentworth Miller.

“Both George Clooney and Johnny Depp just keep getting better with age,” the Daily Star quoted Lizzi Hosking of ”Cosmopolitan” as saying.

The top 25 hunks are:

1 Johnny Depp, 45
2 George Clooney, 47
3 Jake Gyllenhaal, 27

What happened to the message?

This is off & random, yet on topic at the same time, but anyone notice that the message Mahone sent to Michael on europeangoldfinch.net in the first episode of this season telling him where to meet him is not there? The other messages are there, but not that one... wonder if that was an oversight? Not so cool b/c inquisitive fans like me will go look =D Ok that's it! Back to looking to for more on this interview *roaming the net until something comes up*

Spoilers: Is this French interview legit?

Disclaimer: Spoilers contained herein! DO NOT click that button if you don't want to know! You have been duly warned, in a nice way, of course!

Here are a few spoilers from The_Man! Someone even asks about the validity of this French Interview! Speaking of that interview, until I see Wentworth say it somewhere else, I'm not sure I buy it. I could be wrong, but I'm very skeptical! Anyway, enjoy the spoilers!

Jenzy: The Man, is it true that there will be 22 episodes of Prison Break this season? Is that confirmed? I know that the episode order before wasn't exactly clear. I think even Nick Santora couldn't confirm the exact episode number. However, I read that PB is now casting a character for episode 16 who is said to be in 7 future episodes. AND I just read that Sarah Chronicles was recently picked up for a full 22 episodes.
The_Man: i don't think there has been an official announcement about it, but from what i have heard there will be 22 episodes.

Jenzy: Thanks, The_Man, for the confirmation. Some articles are even saying that there might be a chance for a season five for PB, have you heard anything like that yet, The_Man?
The_Man: it's hard to say at this point. the ratings are doing okay to keep it on this season, but if the show goes on for another season it is likely the show would drop some viewers again and that might put it at a point where it could be in jeopardy. ending the show this season on a positive would be better than trying to force another season which could get cancelled and leave everything unresolved.

Jenzy: Looking at the other shows on other networks, it seems that the television viewing as a whole went down a lot this year perhaps as a result of the strike, though. NBC has a ton of shows that are getting 5-6 million viewers per episode, yet they picked them up for a full season. I heard recently that Life was picked up. Knight Rider was also picked up for a full season a while back. And those shows are getting an average of 5 million viewers. Even the shows on ABC, such as Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money are getting 5-6 million too.

A ton of shows are down by a lot this year.

I'm hoping that FOX would give PB a season five to at least finish up all the storylines. I don't think they could finish everything up by season four. Each episode is like a piece of a puzzle. And I'm truly enjoying season four thus far. It's like a new and fresh show. Everything is so exciting. So I'd like to see PB continue for as long as possible. I think there are still a ton of storylines left to tell in season five. And the show can remain fresh and unique.

FOX produces PB, right? I've heard it's also not that expensive to make episodes of PB. A ton of other shows are a lot more expensive. Plus, PB is a huge hit in the other countries. The DVDs are selling extremely well.

By the way, I've heard that PB will be filming till February. So that means that FOX probably has to make a decision soon about season five, right? So the writers know what is going on? However, my main issue is that I think PB can do a LOT better in ratings when it comes back from its usual hiatus. If FOX gives it a good lead in, then I think PB's ratings could increase. I just don't think SCC helps PB at all as the lead in. Now, I'm kind of hoping that FOX would wait with their decision till the other 9 episodes air after the hiatus. Then, again, I don't know how that will work since filming will end before the show will come back. What do you think? Will FOX wait till May to decide on season five? Or more likely in December? I think the cast might be able to film two alternative endings just in case.
The_Man: It is true that most shows are down in viewers this year and it has a lot to do with the strike. Prison Breaks ratings are okay for this season, but since they are dropping about 2 million viewers a year, to add a 5th season and then only have the show get about 4 million viewers seems to indicate the show would face cancellation before it had a chance to finish off that season. It seems like it would be better off to be able to finish the series and tie up all loose ends and answer any questions, then to have the show suddenly pulled and having the fans get no resolution.

Yes Fox does produce PB, and it isn't as expensive as some other shows to film, but it is not cheap either. Especially with a larger cast...which is getting smaller. Even though PB is a big hit in other countries and the DVD's sell well, that money doesn't always go back to the production costs to make the show. There are many different division in FOX. The TV show on being shown is part of Television Distribution, but when it is released on DVD it is part of Home Entertainment.

Even if Prison Break films until Feb, and then the decision is made to go back and renew or not renew the show, There will be enough time to go back to do reshoots if they need to change some things. Filming two different versions is also a possibility. Right now though, it is still up in the air although there has been discussion of adding 2 more episodes for this season, but that is just the Producers saying they want to make them, it doesn't mean that they will air. But it is still to early to tell.

Insanity: when will we see LJ and Sophia again this season?
The_Man: i'm actually not sure about when they will reappear, however if this does end up being the last season, i'm sure they will turn up near the end.

Cybuch7: Will see Nika Volek in this season ? Will see Henry Pope in this season ? Sory for my bad English
The_Man: i highly doubt you will see either of them

kir20: The man (or anyone else who knows), what episode is filming right now and when do the cast and crew go in hiatus?
The_Man: i think they are on ep 16 right now. i'm not sure when they are taking a break. i think they may take some time off for the holidays and then film through February.

kir20: The man, another question. do the contracts for all the actors end in may or june 09? just curious as to weather or not they end at that point.
The_Man: that is an interesting question. several of the main cast had 7 year contracts...dom, went. amaury, rob. so they would be locked into the show unless their character is written out of the show. fichtner is year to year so after this season he could leave. i think swc was just renewed for this season....not really sure about the others.

DaDave: Will wee see or will we know what it means with 10.000 People, Laos and the Company?
The_Man: i actually do not remember what happens with this.

kir20: The man, one more question but do you know weather the recent French interview with Wentworth Miller was true or not? apparently he said this is definitely the final season and even if there was another one he wouldn't want to be a part of it. not sure if its completely fake or not.
The_Man: i have no idea if the interview is real or fake

Jenzy: The_Man, I recently read that two more episodes have officially been ordered for PB this season, making it a 24 episodes season 4. So does that mean that this is the last season of PB? The articles all say that it is the reasoning behind adding two additional hours. I'm just wondering if you know anything about it.
The_Man: i'm not sure if it was offically announced if there were going to be 2 more episodes, but that is what they are thinking about doing. and it would most likely be used to end the series. whether or not they will actually do the extra 2 episodes i'm not sure yet, but either way it seems like this will be the last season.

Season 4 is really the last season of Prison Break?

Hey everybody!!! SoLo found this EXCLUSIVE interview on a French site yesterday afternoon but didn't post because she's not trusting that the info is reliable or true. The interviewer claims that Wentworth Miller was asked about his thoughts on the show and if he feels it's coming to an end. What was his answer?? Read the translation below to find out! Video of this interview will be posted as soon as we receive it so don't go away! Anyway here it is! ENJOY!! Google translate is doing better now I suppose LOL!!

According Wentworth Miller, the PRISON BREAK series will end! The star revealed the news to our correspondent in the United States during an interview on Monday in Los Angeles.

Question: There is a rumor that the series will end because of two episodes that have been added to the season. Is this something that you can confirm? Is this the last season?
Wentworth Miller: We have no official decision. But all those working on the series know that it's over. That's it. I think that all those involved in the daily production understand that it is time to stop and leave on a positive note. If ever there was a fifth season, so it .. (according to the interviewer he made the gesture of money with the hand - ie).

Can you talk with other actors? Because it concerns their job, their work ...
WM: Yes ... But as regards (it's repeated the gesture of money with the hand - ie), you know, this is a successful series.
This is very lucrative. So there are some people, some makers, who do not necessarily [hope it] ends. I think I withdrew everything I could from this experience and I am ready to go.

So the series will stop at the end of the season. That is what is being said?
WM: That's what I hope ... That's what I hope ... the announcement of two special episodes could serve as a conclusion to the series.
