OK time for the weekly Prison Break recap! As I said around midnight, this was NOT the episode to miss! It was full of OMG moments! I truly hope you had the opportunity to watch it. If you didn't, PLEASE click on the link above so you can watch it NOW! If you can't watch the video, then proceed to the recap! It was so good, I watched it twice - back to back! Enjoy!

It seems before Lincoln was sent away to Fox River, he may not have been guilty, but he was one heck of a trouble-maker. Thanks to a flashback, it is shown right as the episode kicked off that in the past, he and his partner in crime were staging a car accident in order to steal an important briefcase inside the others car. His partner shot the two people in the car, don’t worry though, it was self defense. [This explains the photos we saw a couple of weeks ago. I was thinking Linc's old partner in crime was making an appearance to help out with retrieving the last card but... that's Prison Break for you! Always the unexpected!]

So last time we left Michael off, he got a call from Gretchen. Tonight we learn that the two will be partners, but I have a feeling that Michael really doesn’t like that plan. Later, Michael told Sara that Gretchen was still alive, to which Sara has some flashback moments showing us Gretchen flogging her, giving her the scars we saw in the fourth season premiere. [Yeah, I don't think Sara is very fond of the idea of a very much alive Gretchen, let alone that Michael is working with her! Flashbacks Let's see how this plays out... it should be interesting!]

Without his handy device that makes his character unique, Roland wasn’t handling things very well. He texted Wyatt, giving up the brothers location for some money. What’s that little thing about working for the government? Oh yeah, don’t associate with terrorists!…or killers…whatever he is. I never really liked Roland’s character, I thought maybe some day his character might get better, but this move clearly put the word “stupid” on his forehead. [This was the first OMG moment for me! I couldn't believe that Roland was that frustrated that he would contact Wyatt about the brothers! What was he thinking? Doesn't he remember that this is the man that killed a little boy just for the hell of it? "Stupid" is an understatement; I gave him that title awhile back. How about complete moron stamped on his forehead! The thing that gets me with Roland is, HE LOST THE STUPID DEVICE trying to steal money from a blackjack machine! That was no one else's fault but his own & he has the audacity to get mad when Mikey tells him to disappear upstairs or he'd rat on him to Self! He should be thankful that the gang didn't just call Self immediately for his screw up! But fear not my friends, the episode's title will soon come into play!]

Remember that Asian guy looking for Scylla? Gave T-Bag three days to obtain it or he’d shoot him? He came back this episode, just about pulled the trigger, when Gretchen offered him a deal he couldn’t refuse. She’ll get it, and then walk away with $125 million dollars. She then offered T-Bag 25 million to T-Bag. Gretchen told T-Bag that Scylla was way more then just the “company’s black book.” [Funny how T-Bag always manages to be around when it's time to make a "come up" LOL! Whether is weasling his way in on an escape or realizing there's come capital around to be gained, he's there!]

Thanks to the flashback in the beginning, Michael and Lincoln started up their plan of the week. A car crash to steal the final card. Michael and Sara posed as EMT’s to get close to the General, and the card. Lincoln and Sucre were the ones that were going to crash into the General’s limo. It was all set, but silly Roland had to go and tell Wyatt exactly what and where everything was going down, so their plan fails, terribly. Wyatt came out of his car, and started firing on Lincoln and Sucre, actually hitting Sucre! So everyone had to bail. Meanwhile Don Self told Sara that Gretchen wanted to meet with her at a motel, to even things out between them. [Another of those OMG moments! The fact that I knew Sucre was gonna get shot made this part not sit well with me. I felt like Bellick when he kept insisting that something wasn't gonna go right. Wyatt & Rat - I mean Roland - kept texting back & forth. Wyatt asks if Roland if he could trusts him so the little weasel tells Wyatt exactly where Linc & "Sugar" are gonna' be. Michael sees that The General's limo makes an about face & Michael yells to Linc that it's a set up. Wyatt shows up, starts blasting on them while Linc tries to get away. I should mention how they got the ambulance (since someone wondered last week how they were gonna get one - didn't seem very "plausible" then). Self distracted someone in his office while they stole it from the federal impound lot.]

At the warehouse the team rushed Sucre in so Dr. Sara could play her role as doctor again, and get to work! Michael noticed that the only way Wyatt could have known where the team was is if he was told by someone in their group. Michael found Roland who is a terrible liar when it comes to covering his butt. Michael let it slide, he obvioulsy knew Roland was guilty. He handed Roland his laptop and told him to do some work for him. Sara finally removed the bullet from Sucre’s gunshot wound. [Dude - Roland is an idiot! I mean seriously. This is the second time Michael caught him doing something & he tries to argue his way out of the situation. He doesn't know Michael very well, which is sad for him. Michael goes along with his story... for now! Thankfully, Sara, who proved useful in this segment, was able to save Sucre! *Jumping for joy*]
Rearranging the recap a little...

Sara took this time to meet up with Gretchen at the motel. She said she wanted to tie up some loose ends with her, so she offered her back for Sara to whip. That wasn’t enough for Sara, so she picked up a knife instead, and very lightly started to cut Gretchen’s throat. She told her that she would pay for torturing her. [Sorry - this scene could have been left out! Again, Sara proves basically useless. I can understand her being a doctor and all probably prevents her from willfully inflicting harm upon another person, but geez... this is the person who beat her dang near senseless, leaving her with physical & emotional scars. Had it been me, I don't think I could have beat her either. BUT if I was gonna beat her, especially after Sara seemed so upset - kinda' I guess - about Gretchen killing "Taylor", I would have beat the heck out of her for that! The whole knife to the throat thing just didn't work for me. And the blood on the door was worse! Sara is NOT gonna settle up anything with Gretchen & she knows it... She didn't do it when she had the chance & Gretchen, telling her that this was a one time deal, is not going to take anything Sara tries to throw her way lying down! Empty threat... moving along!]
Don called Michael asking where Roland was, his tracker had been turned off. The team looked for him, sure enough, the man escaped. Where to? A secret meeting with Wyatt, who shot him. Kind of a no-brainer from the start, can’t say you didn’t deserve it, Roland. The guys finally find the two and attack Wyatt, but alas, it was too late for Roland. Even though he sold them out, Michael stayed with him until the lights left his eyes. Very sad. [Another OMG moment! First off, again, Roland is a donkey - you know what I mean! Why in the world did he think he could trust Wyatt? More importantly, what made him think he could outsmart Scofield? He skips out on the group with the laptop (Michael put the tracking device in it before giving it back.) He obviously told Linc & Mahone about it b/c when they realized he was gone, he told them "let's go" or something like that. By the time they get to Roland, Wyatt's already shot him in both kneecaps! Speaking of Wyatt - I'll get back to Roland in a minute - Mahone knocked the snot of him!!! Another OMG moment! I was so happy; I stood up & clapped! Linc had to pry him away several times b/c he was beating all hell out of Wyatt & was about to hit him with some sort of iron/steel pipe! I didn't want Alex to kill him b/c the gang needs to extract some info from & have a little fun with him. Lincoln promises that he'll get his chance! Back to the idiot... Michael, as I've said before, is the kind of guy I'd want in my corner anyday! He's a stand up guy and no matter how many lines he's crossed, he truly is a good man. Despite Roland's betrayal, he couldn't leave him. He stayed right there until Roland took his last breath.]

After being informed of the situation, the General knows Michael and the boys are trying to get his card, so he ordered Scylla to be moved. Moved? Where? On the preview for the upcomming episodes, we see that Michael will faint, probably from whatever is happening to him, and there will be a death…dun dun dun! I can’t wait. Can you? [The last of the OMG moments for me came when I saw the preview for episode 9, "Greatness Achieved"! When Michael hit that floor, I jumped up again like "mama NOOOOOOOOOOOOO"! Stupid baseball - grrrrrrrrr! Anyway, I'm with Dave: I CANNOT WAIT! I'm telling you guys, Prison Break just keeps getting better and BETTER each week. You might wanna' share this recap with those you know who have stopped believing in the show for whatever reason! If they truly miss what they say was good about Season 1, then they'll watch now & love this new season! Until next week...]

Thanks to AwsumDave of the Extraordinary Project for the weekly recap!
