Today my mom and I decided to make tamales!!
For those of you who are not familiar with Mexican cuisine, Tamales are basically little bundles of steamed corn dough with chicken or pork and chili sauce inside, they are wrapped in a corn husk and steamed. You can also make tamales with a cheese filling and some slices of jalapeno peppers. those are my favorite!! HOWEVER!!! this time I made mine with a medley of veggies, red chili sauce, Jalapeno pepper slices, and cheese!!!
