SoHo & SoLo Lingo 8/24

This week I'd like to introduce you to a special place. Yeah, that's right, my little "lingo" lesson actually refers to my happy place! It's called...

"Wenter Wonderland"

Wenter Wonderland is a great place to chill & relax.

I'm usually there with a Grande sized vanilla bean or mocha frappuccino and a good DVD - probably Prison Break (as if you didn't know that). I might even be there with my laptop containing some Went related material! I don't read a lot but Wenter Wonderland is wentastic place to read whenever I'm in the mood!

Although, this is my special, happy place that is exclusively for me & the love of my life, I'm willing to share this wenterrific place!

There are stipulations & I am only willing to share if these strict conditions are met:

1. Went will NEVER be there if I'm not!
2. If Went shows up while you're there, you HAVE TO LEAVE - do NOT make eye contact or utter a sound!
3. If I show up, you can stay until Went shows up!
4. You can NOT be there on any given Monday from August to May between 7pm & 10pm CST!
5. Last but not least, what goes on in Wenter Wonderland, stays in Wenter Wonderland!

Any voilation of the above conditions will result in something extremely illegal happening to you! Have fun!!!!!!!!!!

SoHo & SoLo Lingo 8/17

This week's word is "brilliant". Now I know what you're thinking... "SoLo, that is not something that you made up. Everyone knows what 'brilliant' means!" Well, let me assure you that this ain't what you think!


This weekend I had the unwanted opportunity to tell someone just how "brilliant" they are! There's this know-it-all person I know & love, but who shall remain nameless. This person can't be told a thing & can't learn anything from anyone. This person made a very stupid, costly & embarrassing decision last week but rather than take responsibility, this person blamed everyone for what happened - everyone except the person who's fault it actually was! So I said that this person is "brilliant", sarcastically of course, because this was the most stupid thing I'd ever seen!


You can use brilliant anytime someone you know does something amazingly stupid and ignorant beyond belief! So go ahead, tell someone you know how "brilliant" they are LOL!

SoLo & SoHo's Lingo 8/10

This week's term is "dork-watt"!! It's a term that I (SoHo) came up with back in high school. I was sitting in my physics class next to my physics buddy who's name shall not be revealed LOL! Anyway, my buddy and I LOVED working together and people would often refer to us as dorks. One day it was "WATT" day and we were learning about watts and giga-watts and so forth. My sister walks in and calls my attention by saying "Hey dork"! At the same time my buddy says "watt", as he tries to figure out a problem and I heard the two words at once and put together "dork-watt" This term, I use when calling a friend or somebody your cool with a dork in a fun and loving way!

Example: Instead of calling your friend dork or dumb-a$$ or dude or anything else, you call him/her dork-watt! "Hey dork-watt, come check this out!"

It's just a loving "hey you" term... feel free to use it. It won't cost you any watts or dorks so enjoy!!! LOL!!!

SoHo & SoLo Lingo 8/3

This week's SoLo and SoHo's word is "bad-ass"
This term is used to describe something or someone that you really like and that you think is totally AWESOME!!!

For example "Her style is 'bad-ass'!" or "I like her. She's so funny and always happy! Dude, she's insane... she's a total 'bad-ass'"!

This term was used very often by me, SoHo, while attending culinary school. My chef instructors found it hilarious that I kept saying everything was "bad-ass" and would joke around with me and tease me about it sometimes. However, I said it soooo much that after graduating from culinary school, I went back to visit my chef instructors and they told me that they now use the term "bad-ass" too!!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!! There is nothing more funny than having your former chef instructors saying they've adopted your word! Ha ha ha ha ha!!

So with this little story, I am wishing all who read this a "bad-ass" week!!!!

SoHo & SoLo Lingo 7/27

Here are two phrases that I've used while blogging today! I wouldn't tell you about something I wouldn't do or say myself! I try to be such a good example! Yeah, anyway LOL!

Up first is "poke fun" or "poking fun"! That just means you are clowning on someone or making jokes about that person for whatever reason! "Use it in a sentence", you say? Ok, here you go:

"I don't know why people "poke fun" at Wentworth's choice of clothes! I love his adorkable style! No one can pull of corduroys, a white t-shirt, a beanie, New Balance & aviators in the summer like my boo!" - OK so it was more than a sentence but you get my point LOL!

Up next is "garbly goop"! ROTFL! I had to laugh at myself because it's just funny as hell to use that phrase as an adult, but I'm a funny kid/adult/girl/person - anyway.......... Garbly goop means something, usually some literary material, is a jumbled mess and makes no sense. It can also be used to describe something or someone that is a hot mess or in total disarray (BTW - hot mess can definitely be used interchangeably with garbly goop, especially when describing someone's appearance LOL)!

"I don't know the heck he is trying to say in that comment she wrote, but it just looks like "garbly" goop to me!

OR

She should not have put that outfit on; she looks a "hot mess"!

SoHo & SoLo Lingo 7/20

This week's word is.... well, it's not really a word; it's more like an expression! This expression is "I wanna take you down"! You can substitute "you" with "him" or "her". How do you use this expression? Well, it's simple! It basically means you want to have your way with that person. For example, if we are talking about sexalicious Wentworth Miller, you'd say "Damn!!! That man is soooo fine! I want to take him down!!" So there you have it folks!! Use it wisely! LOL!!

You are so lying if you tell me you don't want to take this man down! ha ha ha ha ha!!!

This is a great section where SoHo & I share our own personal language(and the occasional borrowed word from a friend or two)! We can come up with some good stuff, too, people! So go surprise your friends with a varied array of SoHo or SoLo words!

This weeks work is "Spankalicious"!!!

Spankalicious is a word used to describe someone that is so hot he/she is "spankable" and "delicious", thus the result: Spankalicious.

Sentence: Wentworth Miller is Spankalicious!!!

Since we love Wentworth Miller so very much, this week's word is "Wentastic"! Wentastic is normally used to describe anything that is wonderfully fantastic & related to Wentworth, of course! But it can also be used to describe something that is so wonderful that it reminds you of how fantastic Went is! Go ahead; use it in a sentence! You know you want to!

Another word, that I used quite often today is "crud muffin"! Ok so it's two words... whatever! The point is, use it when something just ain't going right! It works in place of some of those four letter words you might know of LOL
