Mamey

My mom seems to like this fruit called mamey. she said she ate it in mexico while growing up. It's super sweet and expensive. 5 dollars per pound! she didnt want to buy such an expensive fruit but i bought it for her and it was really good!!! i had a taste and my mommy had the rest. I must admit i loved to watch her enjoy this fruit that she only ate in Mexico here at home. ha ha ha ha! I love my mommy and love going on culinary adventures with her. its sooooo much fun!

I made roasted chicken even though i dont eat meat lol. I gave it to my mom and sisters... I just felt like making it. lol

oversized America... this i noticed while shopping today... A size SMALL in America, is a size MEDIUM in Mexico and Europe... What happened america?

Chef Alex's Baby!!!!!

At work, Chef Alex's baby is due any day now so the staff put up a piece of paper where we each can write our name and guess what the baby's weight will be when it's born. I say 9 pounds which is about 4 kilos so we will see what is the weight! i am excited!

i just had to!!

Last night after work i was craving french fries but not any french fries that you can get at horrible fast food joints like mcdonalds, i wanted good crispy fries so i had to go to Astro burger for my all time favorite garden burger deluxe with cheese and a side off fries!!!!!!! I sat outside by myself enjoying every bit of my meal!! YUMMMM!! then again i wasnt really completely alone because my phone was blowing up with texts and calls from my friends which is always nice!! that was soooooo satisfying.

My co worker walks into work wearing this very amusing shirt... ha ha ha ha but it's actually for wine because the back of the shirt says Bordeaux ha ha ha ha ha still it's very funny!!

The health department came to my job today to do the routine health inspections and we received and "A"! because "A" is for AWESOME!!
