“We’re doing a little bit of a wrinkle in time, because the end of episode 22 is the end of the journey for these guys, and we do a flash-forward to see where everybody is four years from now. It was a surprising reaction for me. It was an emotional reaction, because you realize the investment in the characters. You also realize how much they’ve been through and, in a way, how noble they are for continuing to fight, So when you see where they are - good and bad and bittersweet - down the road, it’s pretty powerful.”
