Tickets to Michael Jackson's Memorial Service

If anyone out there received tickets to Michael's memorial service this coming Tuesday, please let us know! We wanna hear from you! I applied, but it's already past 11pm here so I'm guessing I won't be getting that email that says "Congratulations, your application was successful." I tried but oh well, I guess it wasn't for me to be there =(

Here's the run down on the winning process:

8,750 people will receive two tickets (11,000 people will get into the Staples Center, 6,500 will be admitted into the Nokia Theater overflow section next door)

The streets around Staples Center will be closed to prevent those without tickets from trying to attend.

The ceremony will not be shown on Staples' giant outdoor TV screen and there will be no funeral procession through the city. No details were available about the actual memorial events.

A unique code and instructions to pick up tickets on Monday at Dodger Stadium were emailed to the winners. When they pick up their tickets, a wristband will be placed on their wrists. To prevent ticket scalping, fans must have both the ticket and the wristband to enter Staples Center on Tuesday. Wristbands that have been ripped, taped or tampered with will be voided.

Michael's family was planning a private ceremony at the Forest Lawn cemetery in the Hollywood Hills but no further details have been provided.

I believe Kenny Ortega, Michael's choreographer, has been asked to help with some of the plans for the memorial service. I'm not sure what other plans are in the works, but Mr. Ortega talked briefly about it on CNN last night.
