Coming up on the Season Finale

The TV Guide article above talks about the end of Prison Break - sadly, people, it is inevitably coming. It begins with how Christina was wretched enough to fake her death & how she now has become a rogue operative who's stolen the one thing [Scylla] that can give her boys their freedom!

While on set shooting the series finale, soaked in his character's blood, Dominic Purcell (Lincoln Burrows) has this to say about his character's mother: "She's a f---in' bitch! Not only did she just shoot me, but she also sticks a stiletto in my bullet hole!"

Christina Scofield (played by Kathleen Quinlan) is said to have the wrong hands for Scylla to land in. In the right hands, however, Scylla could save the planet. Quinlan says "She is insane and in her psychosis she will bring harm to her sons and wreak havoc on the world."

Since the show's inception back in 2005, viewers have gone through so many twists & turns so TVG has decided NOT to spoil it all for us (not like we haven't already been) but will tease a bit with this comment from Kathleen Quinlan, who sounds very much like her character, Mommy Dearest: "That little snot rag of a son, Michael, has told someone how to put together an explosive device."

TVG goes on to talk about the show's "unbashed villainy" & how that has been the reason the show has drawn countless hard from around the world! Dare we forget good guy Michael who had prison blueprints tattooed onto his body, then committed a crime so he could get sent there to break out his wrongfully big brother! While there, he had toe-chopping incident at the hands of one, Mr. John Abruzzi! Sarah Wayne Callies said she's glad they didn't end up with the brothers in Season 9 trying to escape through the ice in a prison in Sweden LOL! Our dear Wentworth goes on to say this: "It's rare that a show gets to end on its own terms. Usually the plugs are pulled and the fans don't get any satisfaction. I was surprised that the powers that be had the cojones to serve up this particular ending."

Prison Break's executive producer, Matt Olmstead, says that "this isn't a death-and-destruction finale" but warns about shockers: "Not everyone will make it." In the final moment's of the finale, which we know is still basically in 2005, jumps ahead to present day, giving closure. Olmstead goes on to say that we'll get to see where all the characters are; some where we hoped & others, not so much!. He also says that fans will be satisfied. Sarah interjects that some fans will be heartbroken because the writers didn't turn this into a love story - YES!!!!!! She also says: "They give you a sunset on the mountain, but after the sun sets, there's a whole lot of s--t to deal with."

Oh, about that 2 hour movie (episodes 4.23 & 4.24, "The Old Ball & Chain" & "Free"), Sara is in prison & the guys are all planning to get her out - yeah, one last break out! FOX has not scheduled an airdate or DVD release date =(
