Here's the latest Prison Break spoilers from The Man ツ

Question posed as to how Sara ends up on prison in the final two eps:
The Man: well that all depends. since at the beginning of season 4, sara was there because she wanted to be, she was always free to go. since she wasn't on the run, kellerman wouldn't have had paperwork for her. her shooting christina is probably something no one would find out about...........unless there just happens to be a video of her doing it.....hmm

at the time kellerman offered them immunity sara didn't think she needed it. perhaps by the time she is sent to prison, the offer is no longer there or they are unable to provide it to her anymore since there "supposedly" is a video of her shooting christina.

Question: Can you give us some details The Man? It's pretty interesting for me as I'm disappointed with season 4.
The Man: i'm not actually sure what direction the show would have taken if there had been no writers strike. I am pretty sure that Sara would not have come back though. I think Michael still would have died, since the ultimate ending of the show was decided a long time ago and they always planned to stick with their original ending idea.

Without the strike we may have seen the introduction of different characters and the way the show reached its ending may have been different.

Beyond that, I don't know anything specific.

Examining the Details

Before I begin, I should say that I'm gonna be discussing/analyzing the spoilers & other info we've gotten over the past few weeks. If you've been keeping up, great! If not, now might not be the time for you to chime in if you want to keep the suspicion going! If you want to get in on the convo, please do so by commenting or chatting in the cBox at the bottom of the blog! With that said, let's begin!

Let's begin with the first real news, the season finale press release from April 25. We learn that "familiar faces return to help Michael with his last shot at getting Scylla in the proper hands and dismantling The Company once and for all". Those familiar faces include Sucre, C-Note & Kellerman! Yep, that's right, Kellerman. His appearance is said to be in Epi 22, "Killing Your Number". Felicia Lang, Mahone's old FBI cohort & Sofia, Linc's girl (used-to-be Whistler's girl) are also said to appear. We know that Sucre & C-Note feel they owe Michael & Lincoln for including them in the escape plan from S1. We also know that the Company sent their goons to kill Kellerman in S2, but what happened in the back of that van? Was it the Company goons that really showed up or did someone else, from possibly Aldo Burrows' group, bail Kellerman out? Either way, he's back & I'm guessing he's seeking revenge on the General for turning his back on him after all his years of service, which means he's on Michael & Lincoln's side!

Moving on: next we find that Sara's pregnant! Oh what a tangled web we've weaved! The Man tells us that Sara has a son, whom we'll see as the episode flashes forward four years in the last scenes. We'll also find out what happens to these guys as well: Sucre, Mahone, Lincoln, C-Note, T-Bag, Sofia, LJ, Self, Kellerman. Notice there's no mention of Michael! Well, stay tuned!

Jodi Lyn O'Keefe returns to the show for the 2 hour DVD special to be released in July 2009. She chimes in to let us know what happens with Gretchen: Gretchen was taken into custody and imprisoned, but didn't manage to break out. The whole point to seeing Gretchen in prison is b/c someone else will be there & to see how this interaction will commence (this takes place during the time gap). Gretchen is pretty hard in prison but keeps to herself b/c her main goal is to get out & be with Emily. The other inmates know she's not to be messed with, so they leave her alone!

Now, who could possibly end up in prison with Gretchen & why would this interaction be of any interest to the viewers? Well, keep reading & you might figure it all out!

Here are a few photos from the series finale (see them all here) that leave us wondering about what to expect!

We already know that Lincoln was shot by Christina last week in Epi 4.20, "Cowboys & Indians". We also know that Mahone & Michael were together when he got the phone call from mommy from hell, so how does Mahone get to Lincoln & what the heck is gonna happen to Sara in the hands of General Krantz? Sucre & C-Note are discussing something: could it be how to save Lincoln or Sara, how to help Michael keep up with Scylla or better yet how to save him or something else? Does Michael get to Lincoln (the bloody hands)?

Ok, now it starts to get interesting! The Man tells us that T-Bag's fate is said to be in the hands of all the others. They have the choice of whether to have him exonerated or not! Hmm... we'll examine this in detail later! For now, let's talk about why, when asked again about the 4 year flash forward, does the man mention "Michael", Lincoln, Sara, Sucre & Mahone? Is there a reason Michael's name is mentioned with quotations? If you haven't been reading the spoilers, I don't want to say too much about this. These details have a lot to do with the 2 hour DVD special & the time gap between 2005 & the four year flash forward to present day. So unfortunately, I have to cut it here & move on =( I should, however, interject with this: You will NOT need to see eps 23 and 24 (2 hour movie - "Old Ball & Chain" and "Free") to understand the end [of the series] which airs this Friday. There will only be one small question at the end of ep 22 that will be answered in eps 23 and 24. Can you guess what that question will be? I can, but you gotta watch the finale to find out! Oh, Michael will find out about the pregnancy Friday, only Sara isn't the one who tells him! Don't look for Maricruz to return in the finale. While Sucre is still with her, we'll only get to see him and his daughter. Oh and that part up there where we talked about Michael being faced with saving Linc or Sara - well, Mahone helps him come up with a plan to attempt to save both of them so we'll get to see how that unfolds. Also, we learn that someone ends up back in Fox River! Could it be that the gang decide to not have T-Bag exonerated & he is the one who returns? I guess we'll have to wait to see!

Okie, so now things get a juicy! In this scoop the question is raised about Michael's survival! Again, in case you haven't been reading the spoilers, we won't discuss Michael's survival here, but I can talk about these 10 points that were raised:

* Someone takes a bullet to the chest: Who could this be? We already know Linc's been shot so I doubt seriously he gets shot again! Could it be Michael? The question's been raised about his survival, but it can't possibly be him! The General's due for a bullet but so is Christina Rose!
* Someone has a very new girlfriend: A new GF? What the heck? Who has time for a GF in all this turmoil lol!
* A man dies (actually we learn that two men die): Can't be Lincoln, right? Michael & Mahone had to save him! Perhaps it's the General; I did say it's about his time!
* A woman dies: OH PLEASE LET IT BE SARA LOL! But we know it can't be if the flash forward shows her with her son... oh well, wishful thinking! Perhaps it's Christina Rose! She needs to die again, too!
* Two women are held hostage: Hmm... two women held hostage? Who could this be? Not many women left except Sara & Christina. Sara's already a hostage & Christina is likened to be caught by Michael, Mahone or the other guys! Perhaps that's what Sucre & C-Note were discussing at the table!
* Someone ends up a vegetable, and we're not talking about the yummy, delicious kind: A vegetable, eh? Sounds interesting but I have no guesses - could be whomever takes the "bullet to the chest".
* Someone goes back to Fox River State Penitentiary: My money's on T-Bag!
* Someone ends up in the electric chair: Electric chair - YIKES! Could it be T-Bag? He's done lots of stuff to earn him that spot & if he's the one back in Fox River, it does seem likely!
* Two nemeses have very similar fates: Now what two nemeses could have similar fates? Christina & Padman - both dead or in prison? IDK, I'm guessing now!
* Sarah is very dangerous with a gun (see above): So Sara's the one with the gun! With this said, it's evident that she's the one shooting someone else in the chest & my guess is mommy from hell is the recipient!

There's a little more we can discuss but, again, if you're not keeping up with spoilers, I don't want to give up too much. You're gonna have to watch the finale, which I know you will! Then you gotta buy the 2 hour special DVD! I can't wait to talk about that, but I'll have to wait until series finale!

Michael's father is Aldo Burrows. Lincoln's parents were killed and they took him in when he was very young. At least that is what Christina tells Michael.

T-Bag's fate will be determined by everyone else. They will be given the choice of whether to have him exonerated or not.

Question: When will Michael learn about the pregnancy in Prison Break? Please let it be soon!
The Man: Sorry, it won't be that soon. But Michael will find out about the pregnancy before the series ends. Prison Break ends May 15. Are you following this?

Are you sure you want to keep reading?
The last scene of ep 22 takes place 4 years after everything that has happened. You will see "Michael", Sara, Linc, Mahone, Sucre....

In the extra 2 hrs you will see michael and sara get married and then sara will go to prison. The gang will attempt to break her out and michael may try to sacrifice himself to get sara out. Disclaimer: Spoilers contained herein! DO NOT click that button if you don't want to know! You have been duly warned, in a nice way, of course!

Here are a few spoilers from The_Man! Someone even asks about the validity of this French Interview! Speaking of that interview, until I see Wentworth say it somewhere else, I'm not sure I buy it. I could be wrong, but I'm very skeptical! Anyway, enjoy the spoilers!

Jenzy: The Man, is it true that there will be 22 episodes of Prison Break this season? Is that confirmed? I know that the episode order before wasn't exactly clear. I think even Nick Santora couldn't confirm the exact episode number. However, I read that PB is now casting a character for episode 16 who is said to be in 7 future episodes. AND I just read that Sarah Chronicles was recently picked up for a full 22 episodes.
The_Man: i don't think there has been an official announcement about it, but from what i have heard there will be 22 episodes.

Jenzy: Thanks, The_Man, for the confirmation. Some articles are even saying that there might be a chance for a season five for PB, have you heard anything like that yet, The_Man?
The_Man: it's hard to say at this point. the ratings are doing okay to keep it on this season, but if the show goes on for another season it is likely the show would drop some viewers again and that might put it at a point where it could be in jeopardy. ending the show this season on a positive would be better than trying to force another season which could get cancelled and leave everything unresolved.

Jenzy: Looking at the other shows on other networks, it seems that the television viewing as a whole went down a lot this year perhaps as a result of the strike, though. NBC has a ton of shows that are getting 5-6 million viewers per episode, yet they picked them up for a full season. I heard recently that Life was picked up. Knight Rider was also picked up for a full season a while back. And those shows are getting an average of 5 million viewers. Even the shows on ABC, such as Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money are getting 5-6 million too.

A ton of shows are down by a lot this year.

I'm hoping that FOX would give PB a season five to at least finish up all the storylines. I don't think they could finish everything up by season four. Each episode is like a piece of a puzzle. And I'm truly enjoying season four thus far. It's like a new and fresh show. Everything is so exciting. So I'd like to see PB continue for as long as possible. I think there are still a ton of storylines left to tell in season five. And the show can remain fresh and unique.

FOX produces PB, right? I've heard it's also not that expensive to make episodes of PB. A ton of other shows are a lot more expensive. Plus, PB is a huge hit in the other countries. The DVDs are selling extremely well.

By the way, I've heard that PB will be filming till February. So that means that FOX probably has to make a decision soon about season five, right? So the writers know what is going on? However, my main issue is that I think PB can do a LOT better in ratings when it comes back from its usual hiatus. If FOX gives it a good lead in, then I think PB's ratings could increase. I just don't think SCC helps PB at all as the lead in. Now, I'm kind of hoping that FOX would wait with their decision till the other 9 episodes air after the hiatus. Then, again, I don't know how that will work since filming will end before the show will come back. What do you think? Will FOX wait till May to decide on season five? Or more likely in December? I think the cast might be able to film two alternative endings just in case.
The_Man: It is true that most shows are down in viewers this year and it has a lot to do with the strike. Prison Breaks ratings are okay for this season, but since they are dropping about 2 million viewers a year, to add a 5th season and then only have the show get about 4 million viewers seems to indicate the show would face cancellation before it had a chance to finish off that season. It seems like it would be better off to be able to finish the series and tie up all loose ends and answer any questions, then to have the show suddenly pulled and having the fans get no resolution.

Yes Fox does produce PB, and it isn't as expensive as some other shows to film, but it is not cheap either. Especially with a larger cast...which is getting smaller. Even though PB is a big hit in other countries and the DVD's sell well, that money doesn't always go back to the production costs to make the show. There are many different division in FOX. The TV show on being shown is part of Television Distribution, but when it is released on DVD it is part of Home Entertainment.

Even if Prison Break films until Feb, and then the decision is made to go back and renew or not renew the show, There will be enough time to go back to do reshoots if they need to change some things. Filming two different versions is also a possibility. Right now though, it is still up in the air although there has been discussion of adding 2 more episodes for this season, but that is just the Producers saying they want to make them, it doesn't mean that they will air. But it is still to early to tell.

Insanity: when will we see LJ and Sophia again this season?
The_Man: i'm actually not sure about when they will reappear, however if this does end up being the last season, i'm sure they will turn up near the end.

Cybuch7: Will see Nika Volek in this season ? Will see Henry Pope in this season ? Sory for my bad English
The_Man: i highly doubt you will see either of them

kir20: The man (or anyone else who knows), what episode is filming right now and when do the cast and crew go in hiatus?
The_Man: i think they are on ep 16 right now. i'm not sure when they are taking a break. i think they may take some time off for the holidays and then film through February.

kir20: The man, another question. do the contracts for all the actors end in may or june 09? just curious as to weather or not they end at that point.
The_Man: that is an interesting question. several of the main cast had 7 year contracts...dom, went. amaury, rob. so they would be locked into the show unless their character is written out of the show. fichtner is year to year so after this season he could leave. i think swc was just renewed for this season....not really sure about the others.

DaDave: Will wee see or will we know what it means with 10.000 People, Laos and the Company?
The_Man: i actually do not remember what happens with this.

kir20: The man, one more question but do you know weather the recent French interview with Wentworth Miller was true or not? apparently he said this is definitely the final season and even if there was another one he wouldn't want to be a part of it. not sure if its completely fake or not.
The_Man: i have no idea if the interview is real or fake

Jenzy: The_Man, I recently read that two more episodes have officially been ordered for PB this season, making it a 24 episodes season 4. So does that mean that this is the last season of PB? The articles all say that it is the reasoning behind adding two additional hours. I'm just wondering if you know anything about it.
The_Man: i'm not sure if it was offically announced if there were going to be 2 more episodes, but that is what they are thinking about doing. and it would most likely be used to end the series. whether or not they will actually do the extra 2 episodes i'm not sure yet, but either way it seems like this will be the last season.

New Prison Break Spoiler & Amaury's take on "What Happens in Vegas"

Lions & tigers & bears... OH MY! Yeah, that was pretty random; I just love saying it! And while this spoiler has nothing to do with "The Wizard of Oz", the sentiment is the same: "OH MY!!" That's all I could say when I read this!

Are you ready? Ok then click the button!

"The Man" says: 3 people die between episodes 8 & 9!!!!!!!!

This is further confirmed by Ausiello of EW...
Question: Could you give me some more scoop on Prison Break? -- Zak
Ausiello: Okay, twist my arm, why don't ya? At Monday's Max Payne premiere, Prison Breaker Amaury Nolasco (a.k.a. Sucre) teased: "Somebody gets killed in episode No. 9... one of us from the group... a regular. And Michael takes it pretty hard because he's Michael." Of course he does. While the actor called talk that this season will be the show's last "just word of mouth at this point," he conceded, "I think it could be a good place to stop." Added Robert Knepper (aka T-Bag): "They have planned out a great way to wrap up all this business with the company."

Not really a spoiler, but Ausiello also goes on to talk about Sucre's little "meeting" with the 5th cardholder & his wife in episode 407 "Five the Hard Way"...
Question: Loved that Prison Break had Sucre pose as a gay dude. But they kind of left it open just how far he went with that guy's wife. What's the scoop!? -- Roger
Ausiello: Maybe you heard, but we recently spoke with Amaury Nolasco and asked him exactly that. "I think Sucre seriously would have [pooped] his pants thinking he was going up to that guy's room to party," he said. "But I loved the twist that the guy's wife was up there. I don't know what the writers think happened, but I like to think that he stayed faithful to Maricruz. She is the only reason he broke out of prison -- or went to prison, really. Why would he throw it away for only $1,000? I saw Indecent Proposal. That didn't even work out for $1 million!"
