At least I think that is the name of that dance from like 1970 LOL! My mom & I used to do that when I was a little girl! I remember her saying I was so skinny that my little hips used to hurt her legs LOL! Ahh, memories! Anyway, enjoy the video! As the President & First Lady continue to dance the night away & celebrate not only their first day as the First Couple, but also a new beginning, I must bid everyone good night! Before the dance, President Obama addressed the crowd, which erupted in applause when he entered the room.

"First of all, how good-looking is my wife?" Obama joked.

All eyes certainly were on Michelle Obama, who had kept her choice of a designer and dress style a secret until literally the moment she entered the dance floor.

The first lady was clad in a long white gown designed by up-and-coming designer Jason Wu. His design style combines modern lifestyle dressing and haute couture, according to his Web site.

The one-of-a-kind gown made especially for the First Lady is made of ivory silk chiffon, embellished with organza and Swarovski crystal rhinestones and silver thread embroidery, according to one of Wu's publicists.

Wu, 26, has been in business for three years, Joe Berean, fashion director of InStyle.com, told CNN.com "This is a huge moment for the designer," Berean said. "Not only did she look stunning and modern and beautiful, but she's really done something for this amazing young designer.

Berean said the first lady has worn a Wu dress once before, during a recent interview with Barbara Walters.

A historic day comes to a close

President & First Lady Obama leave the reviewing stand and head to the White House! They will begin to prepare for not one or two, but TEN - that's right, count 'em... 10 - official balls!
