Better recap...

I found this recap on The Extraordinary Project a little while ago. This recap, while not official, is waaaaaaaaaaay better than the one from FOX. It goes into detail & you get a better picture of what actually happened. I couldn't have written a better one myself & seeing as how I don't plan to type all this stuff LOL, I'll probably post these recaps (with comments, of course) from now on! Enjoy!

Last time on Prison Break, the gang got a lead on an upcoming meeting between members of the company. Michael and Roland got stuck in a air-sucking chamber, Lincoln swung and axe, and Wyatt had some lemonade while talking about a fantasy picnic. Also T-Bag set up a meeting with an important member of Gate Corporation, and Michael took a photo of all six card holders.

Out watching boats, Michael once again, promised Sara that “one day” they will sail away together, and then live happily ever after. Sucre interrupted the lovebirds saying the gang had some new information. It was a picture of a license plate belonging to an Erol Tabak. Thinking he had one of the cards on him, Michael and the gang set out to find him, and get the card. When they got to him, they learned quickly that he did not have the card on him, his wife did. The team was out of luck.

Meanwhile, T-Bag practices spelling his alias’s name in front of a mirror.

When the gang went out to track down Erol, Sara stayed behind to take a closer look at Michael’s picture he took, to try to name the other card-holders. Don Self took a minute of her time to tell her that Bruce Bennet was killed from an apparent suicide, but he knows better. Really? Suicide? Bruce was shot in the back of his head, who would take the time to reach all the way behind their head and pull the trigger from behind?

Trying to figure out a new plan to get the computer card, Lincoln spotted T-Bag across the street. Noticing Linc and the guys, T-Bag ran off, dumping the bird book in a bush.

The brothers stopped him, and he said he’s in LA, because he’s going to start his career in pictures. However they aren’t able to find out where the bird book is, because about two seconds later, they all would have been caught by the authorities. So they all scattered.
Wyatt arrived in LA, thanks to Bruce, and he is looking for Sara. The head of the company told him not to kill Sara, because he needs information. Back at headquarters, Roland Glenn googled the woman they’re after. It seems she will be attending an event called “Eagles and Angels” Mahone recognized that name as an event that half the cops in LA will be attending, because its an event remembering the officers that died on duty. So the brothers will have to work extra hard to not be noticed.

Meanwhile, T-Bag finally arrived at Gate Corporation. He flirted with the secretary, and she told him to wait for a few minutes. Those minutes passed, and he was greeted by the man he was speaking with on the phone earlier. He had his associate lead him to his work station, and he told him he was crippled. T-Bag noticed more coincidences in the bird book, and waited eagerly for his check.

Still mourning over Bruce’s death, and completely ignoring her years of success in AA meetings, Sara went to a bar. She obviously drank some alcohol, because she wasn’t looking so hot in the restroom. Wyatt wasn’t far behind, looking for Sara, but thanks to the nice bartender, she didn’t give Sara up.

So Michael set a plan into motion. He broke into a secure building, and stole police uniforms. With these police uniforms, Michael, Lincoln, and Mahone were able to sneak into the Eagles and Angels event. Sucre and Bellick of course, were in the get-away car. Michael put Roland’s device under a table, and they were so close to stealing the data on the card, when the woman got a call to leave immediately. When Lincoln had his hat off, a member of the company noticed him, and he left the building, only to be cornered by the man.

Well, Bellick saved him by stabbing the man dead. Lincoln took that time to call Michael and told him to get out. Michael had a better plan.

Mahone came up to one of the woman’s security guards and told him one of his people was found dead just outside, and he needed his help with the body. Michael stayed with the woman to make sure she was “safe”. When in reality, he was stealing the info off the card. Brilliant! Here, we see more of Michael’s unknown condition. The woman points out to him that his nose was bleeding. We aren’t shown much more quite yet, I guess we’ll have to wait to see what’s really going on. He gets the info, and everyone leaves.

Back at the warehouse, Mahone came up to Roland, asking his help to find whoever was responsible for killing his son, but to keep it on the down-low. Also, Wyatt tracked down Sara, the last shot shows him following Sara to the warehouse!

Questions:
1. What is happening to Michael?
2. Since T-Bag is following everything in the bird book in order, is he secretly taking down the company as well?
3. If not, then where is the bird book leading T-Bag to?
4. Lastly, where the heck is LJ and Sofia?

- and to add to the questions LOL

5. What is the kip?
6. Who was Whistler... really & who was he actually working for?

Last night on Prison Break: The Recap

EPISODE 404 "Eagles and Angels"
Airdate: 2008-09-15

SoLo's comments are italicized! Episode 405 "Safe & Sound" promo & sneak peek below!

With a camera phone far off, the gang gets an image of a license plate which is traced to a Turkish consulate Erol Tabak. As they are staking the man, Roland's data tracking device reveals that the cardholder is not the consul. It's his wife, Lisa Tabak. ~ "Yo, Papi... we got something." I LOVE when Sucre says that =) Sara decides that she's gonna stay at the warehouse & work on the video... AND? I don't recall hearing anyone ask her to tag along! They are going to try to get close enough to the cardholder to retrieve the info... there was no reason for her to go, ergo, no reason for her to say she wasn't going... geez! "One day..." blah blah blah! Anyway, T-Bag's rehearsal was hilarious! "P-f-e-i-f-e... dammit... hoo! Cole Pfeiffer. How are you?... Call me Cole [comical laughter]... P-f-e-i-f... damn! The captivity of negativity; that's what we're doing here at Gate...!" I swear I love this guy!

Don Self calls Sara to inform her that Bruce Bennett was found dead at his apartment.
The crew watches in a public place as Lisa Tabak exits with three private contractors surrounding her. As Lisa and her handlers pass, Lincoln sees T-Bag from a distance. Lincoln and Michael chase after him and rough him up. They demand to know where the Bird Book is. When security approaches, all three leave the scene. ~ Why did they sit long enough for the bodyguard to pay attention to them... not a good move at all! Padman tells Lisa that "the value of the kip is at ten." He also tells her that when it reaches 15, she'll have to leave immediately... um... what's the "kip"? I think at the beginning of episode 2, he showed a piece of paper with "10,000" written on it to the first cardholder. I wonder if that is the same thing. I was hoping the guys held on to T-Bag for a bit longer! "Looking who's looking, Pretty." I loved that part!

Pad Man contacts Wyatt, who says that he is in Los Angeles trailing Sara Tancredi.
Michael lets Self know that T-Bag has a Bird Book, which he believes contains Whistler's plans for breaking into the Company. ~ Being with Sara is gonna get Michael "ghosted" LOL!

Back at the warehouse, the crew researches Lisa's background. A press release announces that she is set to attend a charity event called "Eagles and Angels," which honors police officers killed in the line of duty. ~ Mahone is a great asset to the team. Without him, they would be doing a lot of unnecessary info digging. His background is essential to the team's success. Before leaving, Michael's asks Sara if she's gonna be alright. I know he loves her, but like I said last week, she's really in the way. She's a distraction that Michael truly does not need right now. Not only is he having to worry about keeping his butt out of jail for the next 15 years, but he has to concern himself with babysitting her or making sure she has a babysitter (Bellick or Roland LOL). Too much added strain on the man; no wonder he keeps getting headaches!

A distraught Sara retreats to a bar in San Pedro and orders a drink. She confesses to a female bartender about her friendship with Bruce Bennett. A male patron unsuccessfully hits on Sara. He grabs Bennett's credit card from Sara's wallet as he leaves. ~ See, once again, Sara's mishaps are adding unnecessary drama to Michael's life & to the gang's progress! Yeah, yeah, I know it's moving the show right along, but I think the guys could have gotten into enough trouble all on their own without the doc!

Agent Self goes to the home of his Company informant Jasper Potts but discovers that the man has been killed. Self does not see Wyatt exit the building. ~ Wyatt is ruthless! I thought Gretchen was bad, but damn... this guy has a gift for what he does! I mean, he did kill Mahone's son, so I don't think there's anything he won't do!

The crew, dressed in police uniforms, enters the charity event. Lisa's security guard recognizes Lincoln, who becomes paranoid. He calls Bellick and Sucre to have them meet him out back. As Lincoln makes his exit, the security guard pulls his gun. Suddenly, Bellick appears and stabs the man in the abdomen. Lincoln grabs the knife and stabs the guard again. Michael and Mahone, meanwhile, stall Lisa in order to retrieve data from her card. ~Padman calls to tell Lisa that the kip has reached 15... still wondering about that... Michael makes one gorgeous cop! Imagine him walking up to the side of your car to give you a ticket ;) Lincoln ain't bad as a cop either! Speaking of Lincoln, I was expecting him to get caught, but I sure as heck wasn't expecting the guard to recognize who he actually was! Now, Lincoln done gone & offed somebody else - that's southern talk for "Lincoln has killed someone else" LOL! Talk about a slight "hiccup", but Michael came up with a good plan that not only got the card copied, but kept them out of hot water... for now LOL! The nose bleeding again - arrrrrgh! I hate that... Even though we post spoilers, I don't always read them because I like to watch the show in suspense. I'm ready to find out what's going on with Michael, besides Sara's a pain & he simply doesn't realize it! (Sorry doc lovers... I'm just having fun with what I see! As much as they "love" each other, they do not belong together. Even you have to admit that a love like this is just unhealthy! I don't think it's really love. I think it's more they have a strong NEED for each other. They need closure to a lot of things & that has drawn them together. Once they have that closure, once the barriers are gone, once there are no more bad guys to fight & once there is no more planning & hoping to be together - meaning they don't have to talk about being together because they actually will be - there will be nothing left for them to "feel".)

Wyatt interrogates a tied-up and battered Gretchen, demanding that she reveal more about Michael and Lincoln. Wyatt then gets a phone call that Bennett's credit card was just used at a bar in San Pedro. Wyatt shows up to the bar and shows the bartender Sara's photo. Wyatt just misses Sara as she leaves. ~You've gotta love Gretchen, bad girl or not! She seems to be pretending to have gone "J-cat" when Wyatt first walks: kinda' dazed & confused looking, glassy eyed & scared. But when he leaves, we can see that she's working on her escape & someone's demise! Ahh, Bennett's stolen credit card... that Sara had... need I say more? By the way, I like Scofield's style, too ;)
This part wasn't addressed in this recap, but I'm curious about this Mr. Xing, the code in the book & the message taken when he called, the corner office - 122B & what Gate has to do with all this... What was Cole/Whistler supposed to meet with him about? Xing obviously wasn't Company because the other guy (who says he'll be in LA if needed) said "So... you don't have Scylla". These guys don't appear to be FBI, so what's the deal? Who was Whistler... really? Who was he really working for? It seems Whistler's bird book is an essential piece to this whole thing & it just happens to be in the hands of the man who always seems to be in the wrong place at the right time... or is it the right place at the wrong time... or maybe it's the right place, the right time, but the wrong person LOL!
Another thing not addressed is that Roland was looking at something on his computer that he didn't want anyone else to see. When Linc asked if he got any info from Lisa's phone, Roland replied that he only picked up the card. So what was he looking at? Was he lying? He was really jumpy, even when Mahone walked up to ask him about helping him find Wyatt.

As Sara takes a stroll through a park, she gets a call from Michael. They make plans to meet for dinner. Wyatt overhears her conversation and begins to follow her. ~ I really did want Sara to get away LOL! I wanted her to get captured or at least caught for a few minutes then have to fight to get away. Oh well, I guess it's too soon for that... tune in next week for the next exciting episode of Prison Break! Until then, here's the sneak peek I promised!
